Biography
Munira Museme is the Managing Director of The Sudd Institute. She brings extensive experience in leadership, research management, and policy engagement, with a strong commitment to advancing evidence-based research and informed public dialogue in South Sudan.
As Managing Director, she provides strategic leadership to the Institute, guiding its research agenda and strengthening partnerships with national, regional, and international stakeholders. Her work focuses on promoting policy-relevant research that contributes to sustainable development, governance, and socio-economic transformation.
Munira is passionate about strengthening local research capacity and ensuring that knowledge produced by South Sudanese institutions informs decision-making and public discourse. She holds extensive experience in institutional leadership and development, and is dedicated to advancing the Sudd Institute’s mission of producing credible and independent research for South Sudan and the region.
